Although charity begins at home, we can’t disconnect ourselves from the suffering of people around the world.

At times in the comfort of our own home and country, we become desensitized to the daily plight of our brothers and sisters living in places devastated by civil wars, foreign invasions, natural disasters, famine, and poverty.

It’s time we alleviated their pain through our humanitarian gestures.
